Miljenka Buljević graduated in English and Czech. After several years of working in a law office, one New Year's Eve she got an idea and co-founded the Kulturtreger and the Booksa club, where she gained various useful experiences, from serving coffee to leading international projects. She has initiated, led or still leads key programs and projects of the association. With Kulturtreger joining local (SU Operacija grad), national (SU Klubtura) and European (Eurozine) networks, she became a member of boards of various cultural associations and institutions. She edits books, talks to writers, occasionally travels to literary festivals and translates. She lives in Zagreb. (2023)
