Magdaléna Kobzová (1981, Trenčín, Slovakia) works as an editor, writer and translator, as well as a cultural worker and organiser. She is interested in the contemporary philosophy and media theory, and this interest is reflected in her work as an editor of the 3/4 magazine and as a freelance translator. She co-organised a series of educational events called Summer Open Academy and was involved in the organisation of the Multiplace network festival. She studied philosophy, English and American studies at the Masaryk University in Brno. She holds a PhD from the FAMU Prague (2008-2013) with a thesis on tactical media. (2025)
