Jesper Olsson is LiU Research Fellow and Swedish Academy Researcher at the Department of Culture and Communication (IKK) at Linköping University, [[Linköping]], and holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Stockholm University, 2005. He did his post-doc at the University of California, Davis, 2007–2008, and has been a visiting scholar at the State University of New York, Buffalo in 1998–1999. His current research project deals with the tape recorder as an aesthetic technology in literature and art during the late 20th century, and he is engaged in research networks such as the Nordic Network of Avant-Garde Studies and Mnemonics: Network for Memory Studies.
