Dr. Sofia Bempeza (Σοφία Μπέμπεζα) is an art/cultural theorist, artist, and educator based in Zürich and Athens. Her work (research, performance, interventions) is focused on the politics of public spaces as well as queer-feminist subjectivities in the art and knowledge production. Her research concerns the history of Art Strike(s); subversion and cultural strategies of the New Right; art practices in relation to the politics of dissent and polyphonic aesthetics.
