Photographer and director, Geneviève Hervé is a pioneer of video and electronic images.

In 1977-1981 she studies montage and special effects at INA (Institut National de l'Audiovisuel)'s GRI (Research Group Image). Further perfects a studio for electronic painting at INA with the Truqueur Universel and the Spectron (unic prototypes computers created by INA engineers) for photography and video art or video-dancing.

From 1979 to 2007 she realised research on different kinds of computers (Spectron and Truqueur Universel from INA, Les Differentes Paint Box in France and Italy, MAC /PAINTER.
