Manos Saklas (1998, Athens) is an artist working across visual art, computer music and sound installations. His work concerns the multimodal nature of listening, visual manifestations of oscillatory phenomena and process-based composition. The psychoacoustic and the physical properties of synthetic sound, along with themes related to notions such as noise, materiality and temporality constitute the core of his interest. In his artistic practice he merges a plethora of territories, constructing listening spaces where individual entities coexist: visual works, sculptural installations, text and auditory objects form an ecosystem that evokes strong yet subtle sensations, unforeseen associations and a sense of introspection.
