offensive video kunst (ovk) was an initiative for the promotion and presentation of video art. It was founded in 1986 by Karin Lauerwald and Stefan Hörner in Dortmund. Originating from the group Video & Co, ovk showed current, international works by contemporary artists at various venues in NRW. The project existed until 1989, but was continued a year later by Lauerwald and Volker Harrach under the name FASST MEDIA ! With the conclusion of the last event in 1991, this project also came to an end.
