Rikuro Miyai (宮井 陸郎, 13 March 1940, Shimane, Japan - 17 March 2022) was a Japanese filmmaker. In the 1960s, he become a member of the Eizo Geijutsu no Kai (Association for Film Art), presided Unit Pro and released a number of film works in the expanded cinema and environmental cinema genres, becoming a leader of the underground scene. He has also produced exhibitions by artists including Andy Warhol. Since 1976, he has regularly travelled to India to practice meditation and come back to Japan, 2010. [1]
