Born 1895 in Budapest. From 1915 he lived in Berlin. Studied piano at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. Worked as a solo pianist, composer, in the 1920s several performances of his Color Light Music, a.o. at the Berlin City Opera in 1926. In 1933 returned to Hungary. Film dubbing and film music. In 1937 film Magyar Triangulum. In late 1930s moved to the USA. 1944-1953 music compositions for 23 films. Died in 1970 in Los Angeles.
