Pavel Sterec

Born 1985. Studied at the performance atelier at Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno (prof. Tomáš Ruller) and at KSFT atelier at JAMU in Prague (prof. Ctibor Turba). Currently studies conceptual art at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (prof Miloš Šejna). Works in the fields of performance, sound art, radio and socio art. Organised and curated Tu I Onde performance festival in 2005 and 2006. Member of Kunst-ruch-ter. Since 2005 member of Lemurie radio. As an author and curator took part in various international projects and festivals (e.g. Recyclart 2004 /Brussels, Transmediale 2006 /Berlin nebo Multiplace 2006 /Bratislava). 2007 co-curated Here2Hear visual and sound art exhibition within Sperm festival in Prague.
