blind date is an audiovisual piece by pd~graz for a varying amount of players and has so far been performed at:
- Musikprotokoll festival 2005 in Graz
- NetartCommunityCongress (NCC) December 2005 at Dom im Berg in Graz
- NoD in Prague on 25 May 2006 followed by a workshop at FAMU (Prague Film Academy) on 26 May 2006. Dating: Ales Zemene, Manuela Meier, IOhannes m zmölnig, Peter Plessas, and Florian Hollerweger. Pictures: http://pd-graz.mur.at/concerts/blinddate/praha/praha_pics
Blind date was realized with 2 computers, one for audio, one for video, and 8 players (= PD programmers). Two people are programming on the same PD patch and after a certain time a programmer is exchanged and must continue the work on the already existing patch. An additional referee controls the exchange of the participants and so the result of the performance. The 2 patches (one video and one audio patch) and the video output are projected, so that the visitors can follow the process of programming.
