Compares and reports the syntactic similarity (not the semantic similarity) between two base labels which may help filter misspelled or equivalent bases that represent the same concept (see special page Bases to clarify concept and usage of reported bases). The threshold can be adjusted to either widen or narrow the similarity distance. $1 is used to exempt bases from the analysis.
