the Kurt Vonnegut Suite is based on parts of the book of “cat's cradle” of the writer Kurt Vonnegut. In this book he describes a religion, which is based on the words of Bokonon and which is subsumed in the 'Book of Bokonon'. It is a collection of calypsos, sayings and descriptions of Bokonon. This religion is only practised on the made up island San Lorenzo where it is actually forbidden but just for the fact, that people would practitse that religion even more and therefore uncovers the fruitful interaction of state and religion and the use of the one for the other.

The suite itself will be a collection of a networked and independent production of musical pieces based on the sayings of bokonon. According to what a suite is - a  composition from loosely jointed sets – the production method will be a circling of the pieces amongst the people participating and constant change of the pieces that are circling so that the outcome will be one big suite.
