Born 1963 in Timisoara. Media artist and activist. 1986-91 Academy of Visual Arts, Cluj-Napoca. Lives in Timisoara. Since 1993, constructing mediatic installations, low-tech and also computer generated, interactive, 'net' based projects. Initiator of FORMAT foundation and nettime-ro mailing list, next to the other european nettime community http://www.nettime.org/nettime-ro
