Barbora Námerová (1985, Bratislava) is a screenwriter and dramaturge based in Prague. She studied at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Her debut feature film Filthy (Špína, 2017), directed by Tereza Nvotová, was nominated for Czech Film and Television Academy's Czech Lion Awards [1]. Currently she is working on a thriller with the theme of magic and witchcraft set in contemporary Slovakia. Besides screenwriting Barbora has also worked on projects combining theatre and other performative arts with Peter Gonda and others. She is a cinephile with a strong interest in Argentinian and Kurdish cinema.
