Born 1907 in Varaždin, Croatia. Died 1980 in Zagreb. Studied chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Zagreb. He held a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Ljubljana (1945). 1961 founder of postgraduate studies of documentation and special librarianship at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Zagreb.
