Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies was launched in 1995 by members of the Media, Art & Design Department at the then University of Luton (UK), and became a quarterly in 1997. In August 2006 the University of Luton became the University of Bedfordshire.
It is published by SAGE Publications.
