Studied at the Philosophical Faculty at the Masaryk University (1989-1994) in Brno (diploma thesis: American cinema of the 1980s as the cultural phenomenon). From 1994 to 2004 worked in Czech Television as external screenwriter, script editor, and external director. Head of Medialab FSS MU.
