In the 1980s Dejan Kršić was one of the rare media theorists-critics in Croatia, and he signed his work as part of the NEP Nova Evropa art project. He published his texts mostly in popular magazines (Start) and samizdat of the Nova Evropa art magazine. Since its start in 1993, he was editor-in-chief of Arkzin magazine.
