Born 1974 in Mělník. Kera is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore where she researches various technologies from STS and interactive media design perspective. She is interested in the convergences of emergent technologies: phenomena like science cities that bring together architecture, science, bio/nanotech, personal genomics services on social networking platforms, different posthuman and transhuman scenarios.

Master degree in philosophy from the Charles University in Prague, 1999. Research topic on new media and continental philosophy. Currently working as a research assistant for New Media Studies UISK UK Prague. Ph.D. dissertation on the performativity in language and computer codes. Articles, critics, reviews and reportages about new media and art in many Czech print and electronic magazines. In 2004 co-founded ScArt society. In 2006 co-founded C2C. Member of Centre of Global Studies. Lives in Singapore.
