Dinamo is an autonomous, non-profit artist-run-space in Budapest. Functions on the bases of organic "self organization". It is a space for work, presentation, experiments in the field of art, culture and communication, outside the established realm of art practice. Promotes the multidisciplinary collaborative art practices and builds new relationships among different activities in the context of broader cultural, social and political issues. Public program started in October 2003 and includes meetings, discussions, workshops, presentations, lectures, exhibitions, projections, studio work. It gathers artists, activists, researchers, philosophers, technologists as well as inter-disciplinary teams working on collaborative projects.

Located in the 140 square meter area, a gallery and a workshop space within IMPEX, in Futó u. 48, 8th district, Budapest (moved there from the ex car repair service, 85m2 space, in Tuzoltó street 22, 9th district, in October 2006). Dinamo is run by Hajnalka Somogyi and Katarina Sevic.
