European Network for Cyberart is a common platform using high bandwidth network connections for Artists in Residence programs and for the joint distribution of seminars, lectures, workshops and in the long term as shared workspace for the realization of artworks. The special focus of this group lays on the support for network culture and cyberart. The core group of Encart is formed by four leading media art institutes in Europe: Ars Electronica Center Linz, C3 Budapest (H), V2_ Rotterdam (NL) and ZKM Karlsruhe.
