Elisabeth Jappe (1934) is an art critic and art historian.

In 1981, Jappe founded the venue for performance art Moltkerei Werkstatt in Cologne. In 1987 she curated the performance program of documenta 8. In 1987, Jappe turned with Klaus Staeck and others against the attempt of the collector Peter Ludwig to present Nazi art in museums. She was married to the art critic and artist Georg Jappe († 2007).

Her estate is part of the Archiv der Avantgarden in Dresden.
