Federico Campagna was born in Sondrio (Italian Alps) in 1984 after his parents migration from Sicily to the north of Italy. He spent more than twenty years in Milan, where he worked as a political and literary activist, co-founding the street-poetry collective Eveline. In 2007 he moved to London, where he started working at the Max Wigram contemporary art gallery. In 2009 he started a collaboration with the Italian Autonomia philosopher Franco Berardi Bifo, whose reader he is currently editing for the Italian publisher Il Saggiatore.

After three years with the publishing workers' cooperative Zed Books, in 2011 he has joined the radical publisher Verso Books, where he currently works as rights manager. He has an MSc in Economics and Management of Arts, Cuture Media and Entertainment from Bocconi University, Milan, and an MA in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths University, London. He collaborates on the magazines Loop and Alfabeta2 and on the radio show Novara on Resonance FM. He lives in New Cross, London.
