Frank Popper

Born 1918 in Prague. Studied literature, sciences of art, and aesthetics. He lived in Paris from 1955. 1970 Ph.D. thesis titled L’art cinétique, naissance d’une nouvelle tendance dans le champ artistique. 1976 professor at the University of Vincennes, now University of Paris VIII. 2006 foundation of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Frank Popper, Marcigny, FR. He lives in Paris.
