Georges Ancely (1847 - 1919) was a merchant from Toulouse known for the many clichés of South-West France he made. At his death, his family told some of his photographs at the Privat family. These (c. 542 photographs on glass plates) were finally given by Pierre Privat Museum Paul-Dupuy in 1971. It is unclear whether photographs held by the Ancely family survived.
