Born 1959 in Nowy Targ. Scultpor. Lives in [[Gdansk]]. In 1980 graduated from the State High School of Visual Art Techniques (the so-called "Kenar School") in Zakopane. He became a student of the Sculpture Department of the State Higher School of the Visual Arts (today the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdansk, which he completed in 1985. Klaman created his thesis project under the direction of Professor Franciszek Duszenka. Upon completing his studies, he began to teach at his alma mater.
