Born 1956, lives in Hannover and works as literature- and network-researcher and -artist; 1988 he started Hypertext and CD-ROM-productions as well as collaborative writing projects in computer networks. He is involved in several research projects concerning network culture, and has been teaching at different universities; 2002 he was guestprofessor at the art school Kassel for the department new media. Since 2001 his collaborates with Stefan Schemat's GPS-navigation-/narration system (http://www.enterreality.com); 2002 Jury-member for Ars Electronica; co-worker within the project "nybble-engine" the aesthetic adapation of a game-engine/Vienna University (http://www.climax.at/nybble-engine).
