Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908 – 2004) was a French photographer considered to be the father of photojournalism along with photographers Walker Evans, Brassaï, André Kertész and the founder of Magnum Photos.

Magnum Photos

In the spring of 1947, Cartier-Bresson, with Robert Capa, David Seymour, William Vandivert and George Rodger founded Magnum Photos agency.
