She is a Ph.D candidate at the Center for Excellency in the Study of Image (CESI), Bucharest. As initiator and curator of the SPACE Gallery of the ICCA (2000 – 2003) she has promoted experimental art and new media, organisng important events in partnership with international art institutions. In 1997, she initiated an artist in residency programme, within the framework of the ICCA. She has edited a number of contemporary art catalogues and was co-author of the volume, Photography in Contemporary Art. Trends in Romania, after 1989 (2006). She has contributed articles and interviews to catalogues, journals and magazines, such as Observator Cultural, Artelier, Balkon, Secolul 21, Praesens and Idea.
