Isabel de Sena

Isabel de Sena is an independent curator and writer working at the intersection of feminist technoscience and art. She obtained an MA in Art History from Leiden University, specializing in aesthetics and philosophy of science. De Sena has authored texts and worked as editor for academic journals and exhibition catalogues, most recently for Oberhausen Short Film Festival, nGbK, and DAAD Berlin. Her curatorial work includes projects in the U.S., Japan, and Germany, where she has worked for venues such as Martin-Gropius-Bau (Berlin), Pasadena Arts Council (Los Angeles), and Tokyo Wonder Site. De Sena is lecturer at NODE Center for Curatorial Studies, guest lecturer since 2016 at CalArts (L.A.). She is based in Berlin. (2019)
