Jakub Hybler (30 November 1974 - 26 June 2023) was a theatre designer, technologist and light designer. Founding member of the Handa Gote research & development theatre, member of the Institute of Lighting Design, educator at the Czech Technical University, long-time head of technology at the Alfred ve dvoře Theatre.

After studying at the Secondary Industrial School of Communication Technology, he studied systems engineering and network technologies at the Faculty of Operations and Economics of the Czech University of Agriculture and then radio engineering and computer engineering at the Faculty of Electronics of the Czech Technical University (ČVUT). His amateur theatrical work in the Mamaya Papaya group was gradually transformed into a professional engagement in the independent theatre scene, where he worked as a versatile and versatile technician and technologist, as well as one of the important promoters of the emancipation of technical disciplines in theatre.

Since 2003, he has worked as a technician at the Alfred ve dvoře Theatre, and between 2006 and 2010, he served as head of technology there. In 2005 he was one of the founding members of Handa Gote research & development theatre, with whom he has been involved in dozens of productions, intermedia projects, exhibitions and installations.
