Jonas Staal (1981) studied monumental art in [[Enschede]] (NL) and Boston. He is currently a PhD researcher in contemporary propaganda at the University of Leiden (NL). Staal’s latest publication is ''Art, Property of Politics III: Closed Architecture'' (Onomatopee, 2011) on the architectonic work of the right-wing politician Fleur Agema, co-produced by Extra City Kunsthal Antwerpen. His projects were exhibited in among other the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven and the David Roberts Art Foundation in London. He regularly publishes in newspapers and magazines, such as NRC Handelsblad, de Groene Amsterdammer and Metropolis M. Staal lives and works in [[Rotterdam]].
