KUD Mreža

KUD Mreža was founded in 1995 in the autonomous cultural centre Metelkova Mesto in Ljubljana, now a complex of artist's studios, clubs, galleries and concert halls. Since then, it has been active in the field of fine art, sculpture, video and theatre productions.

KUD Mreža organises cultural and educational events (exhibitions, concerts, round table discussions, workshops, public lectures), organises residencies, and manages both the Menza Prikoritu concert hall and the Alkatraz Gallery. It collaborates regularly with local and foreign artists in various other diverse urban art projects. It also organises the annual Red Dawns feminist and queer arts festival.
