Lýdia Pribišová is a curator and art historian based in Bratislava. Since 2006 she has been the editor of Flash Art Czech & Slovak Edition, since 2015 she has been the editor-in-chief. From 2013 to 2015 she worked as a project coordinator at tranzit.sk. In 2012 she founded the non-profit platform PILOT. In 2007 and 2011 she was co-curator of the Slovak section of the Prague Biennale and in 2019 Kaunas Biennial in Lithuania. She is a guest curator at HIT Gallery, where she has prepared the programme for 2019. In 2013 she received her PhD from the University of La Sapienza in Rome. The topic of her research was treated in the publication La Quadriennale di Roma. Da ente autonomo a fondazione [The Quadriennale in Rome. From Public Body to Foundation], which she published in 2016. Lýdia Pribišová is the president of the Slovak section of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA). She has collaborated with several institutions and galleries in different countries: MAXXI Museum, AlbumArte, Academy of Arts in Rome, Viafarini in Milan; Kunsthalle in Athens; Museum of Art in Cluj-Napoca; National Gallery in Tirana, OI Futuro in Rio De Janeiro; Center for Art and Urban Studies in Berlin; Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka; ISCP in New York; Tranzit.org; Kunsthalle Bratislava; HIT, Medium and SPACE galleries in Bratislava.
