Lebbeus Woods (1940 – 2012) was an American architect and artist. Woods studied architecture at the University of Illinois and engineering at Purdue University. Woods sued the producers of the film 12 Monkeys (1995, directed by Terry Gilliam), claiming that they copied his work Neomechanical Tower (Upper) Chamber.
