Lenka Dolanová

Born 1979. Art historian, curator and researcher in new media arts, currently teaching experimental film and video at Charles University in Prague and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology. She is researching mostly in the field of early video art histories, with a specialisation on the work of Steina and Woody Vasulka. Between 2005 and 2006 she was Fulbright researcher at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. PhD at the Prague Film School FAMU. Worked in CIANT. Member of Publick and Yo-Yo. Lives in Prague.

Vystudovala dějiny umění, nyní je doktorandkou na FAMU v Praze, ve své dizertaci se zabývá společenskými, technologickými a filozofickými aspekty avantgard elektronického umění, zejména dílem Steiny a Woodyho Vasulkových a s nimi spřízněného okruhu tvůrců zkoumajících signál a kódy jakožto umělecký materiál. Občas publikuje a organizuje. Nemá ráda lidi posedlé čistotou a má ráda posedlé sběratele všeho druhu.
