Lubor Benda

Born 1967. Lives in Prague. Since 1980 electronic music composer and performer. Since 1990, multimedia artist. Co-founded Total Vision and Virtual Reality Association companies, active in multimedia and the virtual reality field in the Czech Republic. In 1995 ArtsLink stipendium at the Exploratorium, San Francisco. Since 1996 Head of Laboratory of New Media at the Center for Modern and Contemporary Art at the National Gallery in Prague. Operated FIRE server (flusser.cz), linking the new media activities and people related to the Czech Republic.
