Magdaléna Kobzová

Born 1981 in Trenčín, Slovakia. Studied philosophy and English and American studies in Masaryk University Brno. She co-organised two editions of the Summer Open Academy, workshop-based event examining collaboration and experimentation between artistic, technical, media and humanistic fields (2006, 2007), followed by the series of summer events Letní dílny in the Czech Republic organised by Yo-Yo initiative. Magdaléna was involved in coordination of Multiplace network culture festival, and has worked with 3/4 magazine and A4 - Zero Space in Bratislava. She received her PhD from FAMU Prague (2008-13) with a thesis on tactical media.
