Manifestations
The Manifestations Festival is an annual festival in Eindhoven organized by Stichting Art & Technology. The festival deals with subjects on the area of multimedia, art, technology and fun and features 80% Young Talents: graduates of Dutch Art Academies, 20% known artists, workshops, lectures, e-fashion shows, network meetings, High Tech events, a film program and the Young Talent award. The festival is one of the 5 large festivals taking place during the Dutch Design Week. This week welcomes 390,000 visitors and 900,000 online visitors.
The festival is known for its critical perspectives on the world, and works towards a more human the development of technology. Known themes are Internet of Women Things, Superpower to the People, Monsters - Free the Byte. It deals with lots of virtual worlds. (2020)
