Marcelo Expósito

Artist mostly based in Barcelona, Marcelo Expósito is currently a collaborator of transversal webjournal, member of Universidad Nómada (http://www.universidadnomada.net), and was co-founder and co-editor of Brumaria magazine (2002-2006). He teaches video theory and history at Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Cuenca), art theory at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), and art and politics at Independent Studies Programm (PEI) at Macba (Barcelona). He has written an amount of critical texts, and (co-)edited books, on the crossroads of art, film, politics, and activism (see Modos de hacer. Arte crítico, esfera pública y acción directa, 2001; or his spanish monographies on Chris Marker and Pere Portabella).
