Margaret Raspé (born Ranke, Breslau/Wrocław, 1933) is a painter, performance artist and filmmaker. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and the Academy of Arts Berlin. From 1971 to 1974 she made films with the self-developed “camera helmet” recording everyday female acts within the kitchen. Between 1978-1985 Raspé produced the documentary film Anastenária – das Fest der Feuerläufer von Lagadas [Anastenária – Feast of the Feuerlaufer of Lagadas] as well as working on the project Unbeachete Produktionsformen at the nGbK and Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin (1982).
