Maria Rusinovskaya studied art history in Murmansk and Oslo. Since 2020, she is managing director of BEK in Bergen. Previously she worked as curator for Landmark, Bergen Kunsthall´s project space for genre-crossing artistic events, curator and producer at Pikene på Broen and on various art and music projects including the Barents Spektakel festival, Barents Art Triennial, and the BAR International artist-in-residence programme. Before that she was the curator and project co-ordinator at Murmansk Art Museum.
