Marieke Verbiesen (NL) is an interactive audiovisual artist. She creates interactive works and animations based on b-movies, computer games and science fiction fenonoma, and blends the use of obsolete technology such as old computer hardware and super-8 film with new technologies such as interactive interfaces and motion tracking. Her work has been shown at various exhibitions, festivals, art spaces, galleries and public spaces since 2003. She is affiliated with BEK and is based in Bergen.
