Studied at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Utrecht. In 2004 she graduated as Bachelor in the Arts, with a specialisation in Mediastudies. As part of the masterprogram New Media & Digital Culture she worked as an intern at the Institute for Network Cultures for the conference The Art and Politics of Netporn. As a part of this conference she also started her research for her Master’s thesis on the cyberfeminist perspective on the representation of the female sexual identity in online communities. Has a broad interest in everything connected to new media, from the art of computergames to digital copyrights, specializes in cyberfeminist views on the relationship between new media and identity.
