Matteo Pasquinelli (MA, Bologna; PhD, London) is Professor in Media Theory at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe (Germany). Previously he has been teaching at Pratt Institute, New York. Matteo Pasquinelli (MA, Bologna; PhD, London) is Professor in Media Theory at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe (Germany). Previously he has been teaching at Pratt Institute, New York. He wrote the book Animal Spirits: A Bestiary of the Commons (Rotterdam: NAi, 2008) and edited the anthologies Gli algoritmi del capitale (Verona: Ombrecorte, 2014), Alleys of Your Mind: Augmented Intelligence and its Traumas (Lüneburg: Meson Press 2015) and Media Activism (Rome: Derive Approdi, 2002).
