The Video Department (as part of the Visual Communication Department at the Hungarian University of Crafts and Design Budapest) has been training audiovisual designers since 1985. The Video Department was founded by Gábor Kopek, József Gollob, József Zelnik and Imre Márczi. The concept, the syllabus net and the curriculum were developed and the work of the department was started during the deanship of István Gergely.
