Born 1956 in Esztergom, Hungary. Writer, lecturer and film/video artist. 1981 degree in History and Art History, ELTE University, Budapest; PhD 1994 in New Media - Art and Science. 1981-87 member of the Balázs Béla Studio, Budapest. 1981-83 member of the Indigo group. 1981-83 Hungarian National Gallery. 1983-87 The Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Research Institute for Art History. Head of the Intermedia MKE Budapest since its foundation in 1990. 1994 PhD, Art and Science - New media. 1996-97 chair of the Board of C3, since 1997 director of C3. He has produced several films and videos during the 1980s and published numerous articles and book on contemporary media art and history. Lives in Budapest.
