Neda Atanasoski is Professor of Feminist Studies and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and author of Humanitarian Violence (2013) and Surrogate Humanity (2019). She received her PhD in literature with a specialization in cultural studies from the University of California, San Diego.
