Festival for art and new media arraned in the Stockholm area 15 January to 15 february 2008. The festival is arranged by the node.stockholm association and will work as an umbrella for a number of different organisations, nodes, in Stockholm. Each node will arrange programs that connect to art and new media. The festival will consist of a wide spectra of events: dance, music, radio, fine art, performance, exhibitions, concerts, magazines, books, web sites etc.
The festival is co-ordinated by a core group but is owned together by all participating organisations. node.stockholm borrowed the model for the festival and the organisation from node.london and strives to create a flat and transparent organisation where democracy, participating, openness and anti-hierarchies constitute the fundament.
